Visualizing the World: Easy Geo Projects Using Google Tools

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a map can speak volumes. In this session we'll look at how you can use Google's geo resources - including Maps, My Maps, Earth, Street View and more - as a platform for creative student projects and dynamic teacher presentations. And not just for studying geography! Maps can be used (mixed with images and video) to help students visualize and learn literature, history, science, art, and more. Most of these activities will work well on any device so bring your tablet or smartphone.
